Saw blade diameter and bore: both must match

A 165 mm blade is not a complete specification.

Diameter is measured across the blade. Bore is the centre hole that mounts on the spindle. A blade with the right diameter but the wrong bore is not an exact match.

Check more than two numbers

Follow the tool manual for blade type, bore, maximum diameter, kerf and body thickness where specified. Check rotation direction, rated speed and the material the blade is designed to cut. Do not assume a reducer ring or other adapter is permitted.
