The "Featured on" badge is a recognised trust mark you can add to your trade business website, vehicle wraps, or marketing emails. It shows visitors your business has been independently catalogued in a respected local directory.

What does "Featured on NearbyTraders" mean?

Being featured means your business has a live profile on NearbyTraders, that profile contains real contact details, and customers searching our directory can find you. We don't accept payment for inclusion — listings are curated from public sources and reviewed for accuracy. Showing the badge tells visitors that your business has been independently catalogued, not self-published.

If you want a stronger trust signal, look at the Verified Trader badge instead — that one requires a short email verification step.

How to add the badge — step by step

Pick a position on your site. Most traders put the badge in the footer (so it appears on every page) or near the "About us" section above the contact form.
Copy the embed code above. Both light and dark variants are 200×60 SVG — they scale crisply on retina screens and weigh under 2KB.
Paste it into your CMS. WordPress: use a Custom HTML block. Wix: use the Embed HTML element. Squarespace: use a Code Block. See /badge/ for the full per-platform instructions.
Replace the listing slug placeholder. Your slug is the part of your NearbyTraders profile URL after /directory/. If you can't find it, email us.
Publish and test. Click the badge on your live site to confirm it opens your NearbyTraders profile in a new tab.

Brand and usage rules

The Featured badge is free for any trader with a live NearbyTraders listing, on these conditions:

The badge must link to your NearbyTraders profile — not to your homepage or a third-party site.
Don't recolour, crop or distort the badge artwork. The hosted SVG keeps your version on-brand automatically.
Don't claim or imply NearbyTraders has accredited or vetted you. We are a directory; verification is a separate, optional step.
If your listing is removed (for example, the business closes), please remove the badge from your site.
