How we rank. We walk every '/kent/[town]/gardener/' page across all 36 Kent towns and pull the ratings and review counts from our underlying Google Business Profile dataset. To qualify for this list a gardener must have:
Remaining qualifiers are scored by rating × log(1 + reviews), which rewards sustained strong ratings over a high review base without letting sheer volume steamroll smaller firms. We deduplicate traders who cover multiple towns — each firm appears once.
Caveat. Google Business Profiles are self-reported and moderated — they are a good but imperfect proxy for the real market. A trader you love who has no public profile will be missing. Always read the recent reviews before booking, and always get a written quote.
