Replacement cabinet hinges

Keep the original hinge code, mounting plate and door measurements together when searching for a replacement. Concealed hinges can look almost identical while using different cup sizes, overlays or mounting arrangements. The opening angle is another separate specification, and a soft-close description does not establish fit. When the original fitting is available, compare its manufacturer’s drawing with the proposed replacement instead of relying on a photograph. Some listings sell hinges without the plates or screws shown in the illustration.

What to check before buying

  1. Identify the hinge type and exact manufacturer code where available, including the matching mounting-plate reference.
  2. Check cup diameter, cup depth and fixing-hole spacing against the door and the manufacturer’s drawing.

  4. Read the pack contents for plates, screws and quantity, and confirm the door-size limits in the instructions.
