A 165 mm saw blade with a 20 mm bore still needs the correct cutting width, plate thickness, tooth design and speed rating for your saw. The accessory examples below share those two headline dimensions but differ in construction and intended use. They are comparison references, not a list of blades approved for every model in this hub.

Why a thin 165 × 20 mm blade may not suit your saw

Bosch’s GKT 55 GCE manual gives a concrete example: its 230 V technical table specifies tooth thickness/offset from 1.8 to 2.6 mm and a maximum base-blade thickness of 1.8 mm. The manual notes that other voltages and country versions can differ. Use the instructions for your exact variant.

The Bosch cordless blades below have a 1.5 mm cutting width, below that GKT table’s minimum. Do not treat them as GKT 55 GCE replacements because their diameter and bore match. Check the full manual specification before comparing tooth counts or choosing a thinner blade.

Compare exact 165 mm blades with a 20 mm bore

Every row specifies a 165 mm diameter and a 20 mm bore. Cutting width describes the cut made by the teeth; plate thickness describes the blade body. A missing plate value is left unconfirmed. These published accessories illustrate different choices, with no implied approval for the models elsewhere on this page.

Choose for the material and cut, then verify speed

Within Bosch’s stated cordless wood range, the 24-tooth and 48-tooth examples are labelled for coarse and fine cuts respectively. This does not make tooth count a universal rule across blade families or materials. Makita’s 48-tooth example has a different cutting width and a plunge-cut design.

The GKT manual says blade choice depends on the wood and whether the cut runs with or across its grain. Follow your saw’s permitted applications and the blade maker’s material description. A shared 165 × 20 mm size does not establish suitability for metal, masonry or another material. Check rotation direction and the manual’s blade-speed requirement before purchase.

Make the retailer search specific

Carry the complete saw model, 165 mm diameter, 20 mm bore, required cutting width and intended material into the search. If you have identified a manufacturer article, retain its part number too. Check the actual selected variant and blade marking; a search result or a reducing ring mentioned in a listing does not establish that an adapter is permitted.

What else needs to match?

  • Match the exact saw variant and its permitted 165 mm diameter and 20 mm bore.
  • Read cutting width and blade-body thickness as separate requirements.
  • Check tooth design and stated material application, not tooth count alone.
  • Follow the manual’s speed, rotation and mounting requirements.
  • Do not assume a reducer ring or a thinner blade is approved.
